#22 – Hot air balloon
The hot air balloon is the first achievement of human flying technology. This was initially unmetered to keep an eye on hot air and was developed by Jean-François Pilâtre de Rozier and François Laurent d’Arlandes during the year 1783 in Paris as an inflatable object made by the Montgolfier siblings. Presently hot air inflatables can travel for miles. The longest recorded hot air swell flight went 7,672 km (4,767 mi) which was from Japan to Northern Canada.
